The contractor shall remove and dispose of existing steam piping, insulation, expansion joints, turbine #5 desuperheater and associated fittings, valves, controls. The contractor shall include the provisions and installation of new welding and all incidental related work. The cost range is $25,000 -- $50,000. The applicable SIC code and size standard is 1711 and is $7.0M for this solicitation. Bidders interested in receiving the solicitation for this project must submit a request with a company check, certified cashier's check or money order in the amount of $16.90. The check must be issued to the Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), box 40, Building 83, Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT 06340-5040. Each check must be made payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number.
