10 -- AIR ARMAMENT, REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, TEAM EGLIN IS SEARCHING FOR INNOVATIVE IDEAS AND TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE AND/OR ENHANCE WARFIGHTER CAPABILITIES POC TECHNICAL-Mr. Dennis Love, AFDTC/DRC, (904) 882-3890. CONTRACTING-Mr. Gary Williams, ASC/PKC, (904) 882-3107 The Air Armament Strategic Roundtable at Eglin AFB, FL is seeking innovative ideas, products and techniques which significantly improve the warfighters' capabilities and that can be inexpensively demonstrated within 12-18 months. The roundtable is exploring "focusing concepts" using advanced technology or unique integration of existing technologies/tactics that reduce costs and logistic requirements, increase training and wartime sortie generation rates, or enhance warfighter capabilities. After successful demonstration, the Air Force may pursue development and production of the product. Both evolutionary and revolutionary ideas are sought. The intent of the roundtable is not to duplicate the existing Air Force Modernization Processes, but to complement them by allowing the "best technological gems" to be brought to the forefront for quick and efficient integration into air armament. No funds have been appropriated for this request. Participation is strictly voluntary and a response/submittal shall notconstitute an implied obligation on the part of the Government to reimburse a responder for any ideas, concepts, or techniques which may be implemented as a result. Any proprietary information/data shall be properly and clearly identified as proprietary. The Government shall not be responsible for information/data received without the proper markings.
