ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL AUTOMATIC CALL DISTRIBUTOR EQUIPMENT DUE 042297

Administration (SSA) is seeking to identify vendors that can provide
agent workstations and supervisory workstations that will be compatible
with SSA's existing Rockwell International Automatic Call Distributor
(RIC ACD) equipment. The equipment shall also include all related
switch equipment, (i.e., additional switch cards, shelving, surge
protection, audible call alerts, headsets, cabinets, wiring, cabling,
and labor). The required equipment and switch support will be
distributed to SSA offices throughout the continental United States as
follows: Birmingham, AL; Chicago, IL; Jamaica, NY; Kansas City, MO;
Philadelphia, PA; and Richmond, CA. All of the host switches are
Rockwell Galaxy model GVS-3000 operating on level 8.1 Galaxy software.
Increased equipment and software quantities must be compatible with
the existing Rockwell equipment and provide the ability to meet the
Agency's needs during the remaining life cycle of the equipment.
Equipment must also be compatible with existing Management Information
(MI) without causing degradation of reports. Interested parties must
be able to support both service and future growth. Respondents also
must have total access to parts including spares. A two (2) hour
emergency response for system problems and an eight (8) hour response
for other equipment will be required as support maintenance for this
newly installed equipment. Vendors capable of providing a product with
the salient characteristics, and mandatory specifications as stated
above are invited to submit in writing a substantial statement clearly
demonstrating comparable quality of the product offered, substantiated
by technical data brochures, specifications and pricing. Interested
parties must respond to this notice in writing within 15 calendar days
from the date of this publication. Please refer to MB97B. THIS IS A
REQUEST FOR PRODUCT INFORMATION ONLY! This is not a request for
proposal (RFP). No contract award will be made on the basis of
responses received; however, information will be used in SSA's
assessment of capable sources. The Government does not intend to pay
