This is a combination synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using solicitation number F0561197T4659. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3669 and the business size standard is 750 employees. This is a small business set-aside. Line item 0001, Description: Voice Communications System. Consists of ATC IVCSS System, model number PROCOM-1423ATC, manufactured by Telegenix or equal. The system must be compatible and interface with existing AN/GRT 21/22 Transmitters, AN/GRR 23/24 Receivers and C-10639/G Automatic Lockout Devices. All proposed equipment shall be approved by the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) and the Base System Telecommunications Engineer's Management Office, HQ 38 EIW/ESB, Tinker AFB, OK. The system is required to allow USAF Academy ground control operators to communicate with USAF Academy T-3 aircraft within a radius of at least 200 miles from the USAF Academy. Receipt, inspection, and acceptance of the items will be made by 10 CS/SCXP,USAF Academy with delivery within 90 to 120 calendar days.
