61 -- EMERGENCY LIGHTING REPLACEMENT/REPAIRS SOL DTCG39-97-B-QEE072 POC Mr. David Gomes (860) 444-8259 Project consists of replacing two existing emergency lighting power consoles and the repair/upgrades to eleven existing emergency power station consoles. The work will be performed at the U. S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT. There is no known hazardous material in this project. This acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business: SIC Code is 3625, Size Standard is 750 employees. There will be only one site visit which will be further identified in the solicitation package, and contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. The solicitation package is estimated to be ready for issue on or about 25 APR 97, with a response date of 16 MAY 97. An eight week period of performance is anticipated (2 JUN 97 -- 25 JUL 97). The resulting contract from this acquisition will be awarded to that responsible offeror whose bid, conforming the request for bids, will be the most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors.
