Firms who have already submitted SF 254 & SF 255s need not resubmit. This Modification is to change sentences on line 5 to read from with two, one year options to one, one year option. Line 10 to read from to exceed $500,000 to not to exceed $750,000. Architect Engineering Services, Title I, Title II, Transportation, Reproduction, and other architect engineering services are required for design of construction projects, studies, and supporting services at Vandenberg AFB, California. Open-End contracts will be issued tor a one year period (basic year) and with an additional one year period (option year) if the Government chooses to extend the contract. A preselection board will select the top ten AE firms based on the evaluation factors. A final selection board will select the top five AE firms based on the evaluation factors and interviews with AEs and/or references. Contracts will be awarded to a minimum of three firms and a maximum of five firms based on projected design workload, available funds, and the evaluation of AE submittals. Individual delivery order fees issued under this contract will not exceed $299,000, with the exception of the initial delivery order which may exceed this limitation. The total fees for the basic year will not exceed $750,000. The total fes for the basic and option years combined will not exceed $1,500,000. A minimum of $5,000 in fees will be issued under the contract. Delivery orders will be issued as needed throughout the contract period. Delivery orders may be competed between two or more AE firms. Design services are required for the renovation, repair, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Design services include sketches, presentation drawings, the preparation of construction drawings in AutoCad ans specifications in CSI format. Investigative services may include studies, reports, and design analyses, surveys, and cost estimates. The primary discipline for the AE selection is architecture. However, projects may include various combination of architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and other engineering and technical disciplines. The primary discipline must be accomplished by the primary AE firm, however; other disciplines may be accomplished by qualified consultants. Submit corporate credentials for the primary firm and for key consultants and for key personnel for the primary firm and key consultants. All contract drawings must be stamped by a professionally licensed architect or engineer, as appropriate, in the state of California. Selection criteria in the discipline of architecture (listed in descending order of importance): a. Overall experience and quality of work (last 5 years) in terms of: (1) Design excellence (2) Breadth & diversity of projects (3) Environmental considerations including mitigation of hazardous materials. b. Qualifications, training, and experience of designated key personnel to be used on the contract for the primary firm and consultants. c. Past customer satisfaction. d. Management adequacy for subject contract: (1) Capacity to accomplish delivery orders (2) Prior work with proposed consultants (3) Timeliness/ability to meet deadlines (4) Cost management ability. e. Specific experience California central coast. f. Previous experience with federal, state, or local government projects. g. Proximity to Vandenberg Air Force Base.
