Required: A software based scheduling system which allows multiple users at multiple locations the ability to reserve conference rooms. Inherent in the application should be the ability to notify conference requesters and room coordinators of the scheduled conference via electronic mail and facsimile. The application should be client/server-based and accessible via TCP/IP from remote sites running various computer operating systems including, PC, MAC, & UNIX. The ability to establish individual user accounts with passwords as well as varying levels of account provisioning to support administrative, scheduling, and query-only accesses is required. Salient characteristics. 1. Ability to schedule multiple video conference rooms up to 2 years in advance. 2. Ability to schedule multiple rooms for one video conference. 3. Ability to provide a unique reservation number for each scheduled event. 4. Security provisions to include ID and password. Needs read/write/change level, and read only levels and overall administration level. 5. Initial security ID and password capability for up to 400 clients. Must be capable of expanding to 1000 users. 6. Desirable to be accessible via the WW Web and have schedules publishable on the Web. 7. Automatic fax & e-mail notification to of scheduled event. 8. Ability to set warning thresholds for notification ahead of time. 9. Automatic notification to all conferees users of upcoming conferences. 10. Accessible by PC, MAC, & UNIX hardware running, Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and later versions.
