AUTOMATED PACKAGING SYSTEM EQUIPMENT National Technical Information Service, Contact Point: Larry Placanica, #703/487-4738, 5285 Port Royal Road, Springfield, Virginia 22161 National Technical Information Service (NTIS) has automated packaging equipment which does not meet the requirements for its current production and shipping environment. The NTIS automated packaging equipment consists of: 8 side seal bundling systems, 8 counter stackers, conveyor system, and a quantity of spare parts. The equipment may be viewed upon appointment. More detailed specifications are available upon request. NTIS wishes to trade all of such equipment for unspecified production and shipping equipment. All interested parties may submit an offer for the trade of such equipment. The offer must stipulate the US Dollar equivalent value that the offeror proposes to credit NTIS for the exchange of unspecified equipment and maintenance services. NTIS reserves the right to reject any offer which does not provide sufficient benefit to the Government. If an offer isaccepted, NTIS will supply the offeror with a a list of desired production and shipping equipment. Such desired equipment will be exchanged by the offeror for the NTIS automated packaging equipment. The current NTIS automated packaging equipment proposed for trade is only available in its entirety, as is, and must be removed from the NTIS warehouse by May 16, 1997.
