Except for a phase in period, the guaranteed square footage per month is 100,000 SF. An additional 200,000 SF may be required. In addition to the facility, the contractor will also provide warehousing services such as handling, product repackaging, inventorying, shipping, administrative services and local transportation. The period of performance will be two years with four two year options. The type of equipment that will be stored, shipped, and received is mail transport equipment. The Postal Service prefers one warehouse which has all the required square footage. If necessary to meet the additional monthly space requirement, a second warehouse may be proposed as long as it is within the same general business/commercial area as the primary facility.
