This presolicitation notice is to Renovate Unfinished Area for Lab at the VA Medical Center, Tucson, AZ. This construction project will convert approximately 16,000 sf of unfinished space in the basement of existing building 57 to functional space for clinical laboratory service functions. Work will include installation of floor slab, interior partitions, finishes, casework, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and various laboratory specific equipment (walk-in refrigertaor, fume hoods, bio-safety cabinets, etc.) according to contract drawings and specifications. The IFB will be issued on or about May 8, 1997 with bid opening to be on/about June 11, 1997. The estimated cost range is from $2,000,000 to $5,000,000.
