Work includes removing the lanternhouse in its entirety and transporting to sandblast facility. Sandblast and paint lanternhouse, replace astragals and windows. Remove existing decking on light tower and replace with new decking, roofing system, and fascia board. Replace newly painted lantern house onto light tower and incidental related work. Cape Poge Light is a very difficult site to access due to its remote location on the northeastern tip of the long sandy barrier island of Chappaquiddick Island off Martha's Vineyard. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SIC code is 1629. Performance time is 90 calendar days. However, actual construction time is limited to 45 calendar days.
