SYNOPSIS -- This work includes the provision of necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision for the construction of a guard booth for Building 2521. The work includes removal and disposal of railroad tracks, concrete slab and aluminum storefront system; relocation of vehicle gate with underground power and control wiring; new paving, pavement repair, asphalt overlay of existing paving and pavement striping; manholes and storm drain piping; concrete block foundation walls with concrete footings and floor slab; metal stud and joist framing with metal siding, standing seam metal roofing, gutter and downspout; aluminum storefront system with tinted glass; aluminum windows with insulated glass; wood stair and plywood floor with vinyl tile and base; metal stud partitions with panted gypsum board finishes; plastic laminate countertop; hollow metal doors and frames; a wheelchair lift; heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) includes a thru-wall air conditioner and electric baseboard heater; electrical service is provided to the panelboard from an existing feed; interior wiring and devices; power and ground fault interrupting receptacles; HID light fixtures, with timer/photocell controls; fluorescent lay-in style and emergency light fixtures; and all other incidental related work at the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1541. The related Small Business size standard is 17 million. Completion time is 120 days after award.
