Description of content: This technical standard covers the requirements for installation of customer cabling, including cabling products, and the installation of outdoor cabling including underground cable. The requirements include aspects covering acceptable construction practice, the definition of authorized materials, safety, and the separation from harmful and hazardous services. Particular attention is paid to the needs and requirements for earthing for personnel protection, and for customer equipment functional purposes, and the relationship between the two. 7.
