509/826-3392, Procurement Assistant The work consists of removal and
disposal of a large culvert. The existing fill will be removed,
temporarily stockpiled, hauled back and the fill reconstructed.
Installation of a corrugated steel open bottom arch with concrete
footings. The foundation for the footings will need to be prepared and
the footings cast in place. There will be minor grading in the creek
and riprap will be required in the stream bottom and partial filling of
the existing plunge pool. Construction staking will be performed by the
Contractor. Crushed aggregate surfacing will be placed on the roadbed
in the areas of the road bed that are distrubed by the construction.
All riprap and crushed aggregate needed for the project is "Government
Furnished Material". This solicitation is open to large business. The
estimated cost is between S25,000 -- S100,000. This is a Watershed
Restoration project, set-aside for individuals and businesses within
the following counties: Washington: Chelan, Calallam, Clark, Cowlitz,
Douglas, Gray Harbor, Island, Jefferson, King, Kititas, Kitsap,
Klickitat, Lewis, Mason, Okanogan, Pacific, Pierce, San Juan, Skagit,
Skamania, Snohomish, Thurston, Wahkiakum, Whatcom, and Yakima: Oregon:
Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Curry, Deschutes, Douglas,
Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Lane,
Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Tillamook, Wasco, Washington
and Yamhill: California: Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino,
