Furnish all materials, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to apply pavement and traffic markings to a recently reworked portion of the parkway motor road, turnouts, accesses, parking areas, and a maintenance compound. In addition to application of new markings, some restriping will be required. Approximate quantities employed in this contract are: new broken yellow centerline -- 48 miles; new no passing yellow centerline -- 51 miles; new white edgeline -- 125 miles; restripe broken yellow centerline -- 27 miles; restripe no passing yellow centerline -- 15 miles; restripe white edgeline -- 60 miles. Project is located on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Northeast Mississippi and a small portion of Northwest Alabama. Operations will commence in late fall (1997) and shall be concluded within 30 days of the start date. Magnitude of this project is $100,000 to $500,000.
