Z -- MANHOLE SAFETY SOL 452-37-97 DUE 052997 POC Delbert Rinehart -- (316) 651-3627 Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, to improve manhole safety at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical & Regional Office Center, 5500 E. Kellogg, Wichita, Kansas 67218-1698. Work to consist of demolition and removal of existing steam and electrical manholes, excavation and backfill for the construction of new manholes, installation of electrical conduit, sump pump manholes, electrical wiring and drain pipe. Removal and replacement of asphalt pavement where removed to install manholes, conduit and drains. The cost range for this project is between $100,000 & $250,000. SIC for this project will be 1623. Bid documents will be issued April 28, 1997 and must be requested in writing. There will be a pre-bid conference May 13, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. local time in Building 34, Room 115. Bid Opening will be May 29, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. local time and will be held in Building 34, Room 115. (0098)
