PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Renovation to Dormitory, Bldg. 76; work to include interior finish upgrades to approximately 180 sleeping units, lobbies, recreation rooms and corridors, and incidental related work. Miscellaneous work to include carpet, acoustical ceilings, paint, etc. Mechanical system is to be completely upgraded with new fan-coil units in each sleeping unit. Electrical system includes addition of IDF, intermediate distribution frame, and a cable handling facility located in two existing offices to be relocated into two sleeping rooms. Telephone, data and voice capabilities to be added to sleeping units. Light fixtures will be replaced throughout. Extensive asbestos abatement and lead-based paint mitigation. Work to be accomplished in four (4) phases, each having a separate completion date. The building will be occupied during phases. This project is taking place at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Glynco, GA. Solicitation instructions, plans, and specs may be examined at the Procurement Division, Building 28, Glynco, GA, during regular business hours.
