Esser, Contracting Officer at (937) 666-4511 The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Vehicle Research and Test Center (VRTC) requires instrumentation for three (3) small female, Hybrid III anthropomorphic test dummies. The instrumentation consists of three (3) Model 1716A 6- channel Upper Neck Load Cells; three (3) pair Model 2656 ASIS Iliac Crest Load Cells; three (3) pair Model 3553 Instrumented Lower Legs with non-instrumented knees; and two (2) Model 1914 6-channel Femur Load Cells. Drawings are not available for this anthropomorphic test device. Instrumentation for this device was developed by R.A. Denton. The Government intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-price contract to R.A. Denton, Inc. for the instrumentation listed. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor is a RFP available. Interested parties believing they are capable of providing this requirement must respond to this notice in writing within fifteen (15) days after its appearance in the CBD. Interested parties must demonstrate proven capability to manufacturethe parts described.
