S -- TRANSPORT AND DISPOSAL OF MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE (MSW) SOL DAKF40-97-R-0011 DUE 080697 POC Contract Specialist ANGELA LOCKE (910) 396-4362 X230 (Site Code DAKF40) Provide Transportation and Disposal Services of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for a base period of 1 January 1998 thru 30 December 1999 (plus 4 one-year option periods). Contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other items and services necessary to transport and dispose of approximately 38,400 tons per year of MSW (household wastes, white goods, wood and yard waste, hazardous waste and special waste) and approximately 4 tons of tires per year. Contractor shall transport and dispose of all MSW at a Subtitle D landfill and provide a program of waste reduction/recycling to meet federal and state mandated goals. Contractor shall obtain and maintain compliance with all permits, licenses, zoning ordinances, and other federal, state and county approvals; comply with all federal, state and local environmental laws, standards and regulations which may be necessary to perform transportation and disposal of MSW. Due to automation of the Bidder's Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to list. It is therefore required that all responses include the vendor's business size. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is (SIC) is 4953; the average annual gross revenue for the last three fiscal years is $6.0 million.
