Andrews AFB MD intends to issue, on or about 30 Apr 97, a solicitation for the publication of the Andrews AFB Guide/Telephone Directory, Map, and Transient Services Guide. All proceeds from the sale of advertisements belong to the publisher, who agrees to look exclusively to such advertising for all costs and profits, if any. Based on market research, the Government does not plan to solicit the described supplies or services using FAR commercial procedures. See Note 1 and Note 26. Interested parties shall identify, in 15 days, their capability to fulfill the stated Government requirement with available commercial items/services. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The SIC Code is 2721. Business size must be included with your request for a copy of the solicitation. The closing date and time for submission of bids/offers will be contained in the solicitation package. Only written requests for a copy of the solicitation will be honored and only one copy per firm. All information required for submision of a bid/offer will be included with the solicitation package. We do not issue receipts for either your request for the solicitation package or for your bid/offer. All requests for either the solicitation package or further information must be in writing, no telephone calls will be accepted. Only requests received directly from the bidder/offeror will be honored. The Government is contemplating a contract for a basic period of two years plus two, two-year option periods. The Government reserves the right not to exercise the options.
