Melanson, Contracting Officer,703-325-6096 It is the intent of the USACECOM Acquisition Center, Washington Operations Office to purchase one (1) Interim Vehicular Mounted Mine Detector (IVMMD), Test Support, Training and Data from LNY Sales, Inc., of Manassas, VA. The IVMMD is a nondevelopmental system consisting of the Mobile Mine Detection System developed by Dorbyl LTD/RSD of the Republic of South Africa. The system includes the Meerkat Mine Detection Vehicle, Husky Towing/Mine Detection Vehicule with Mine Detection Trailers and Spare Part Red and Blue Packs. The contract will include options to purchase up to an additional ten (10) systems, supplemental training and maintenance to be used for contingency operations. The systems are to be purchased in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Other Than Full and Open Competition, Only One Respnsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy agency requirements from LYN Sales, Inc with Dorbyl LTD as a subcontractor.
