issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Occupational Medicine and
Enviromental Health Services -- The closing date shall be announced in
the solicitation -- The RFP will be released on or about 15 days after
publication of this notice in the Commerce Business Daily -- The
contract will be a Performance Based Firm-Fixed Price/Indefinite
Quantity/Incentive Fee contract -- The contractor shall provide the
necessary management, supplies, materials, and personnel (not otherwise
provided by the Government) to provide Occupational Medicine and
Environmental Health Services for MSFC including ambulance and
provisions for resolution of unusual or emergency situations which will
be directed by the Contracting Officer by "Work Directive" -- The
Government will provide to the contractor for on-site use, property
including facilities, office equipment such as desks, chairs, and work
benches; and support services such as reproduction, taxi/bus,
janitorial, telephones, and such other institutional type services as
may be required -- The Government does not, however, provde ADP support
for the contractor's administrative requirements such as accounting,
payroll, personnel, and other management information systems -- A
preproposal conference will be held at MSFC approximately 15 days after
release of the RFP -- Period of Performance will be for one year with
four additional one-year options -- Services will include emergency,
therapeutic, preventive medicine, enviromental health, special medical
and health services, and ambulance service for MSFC employees -- All
proposals are due on or about 5/23/97 -- All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The
solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be
available over the Internet. These documents will be in ASCII or RTF
format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be
accessed using a WWW browser application. The WWW address, or URL, of

shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the
offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the
solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be

amendments (if any). Hard copies may be obtained from the identified
point of contact; however, the closing date for the hard copy received
shall be the same as the solicitation, inclusive of any amendments,
