R -- LIBRARY SERVICES POC Carl Stottuth, Contracting Officer, (202) 874-5034 The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)intends to contract, basic 1 year plus four 1 year options, with Thomson Bank Watch Inc (TBW), to provide comprehensive bank and consolidated bank holding company credit analysis and research services, including research analysis and reports on over 1,000 financial institutions in 83 countries around the world. This information will be provided on a CD-ROM capable of operating on an OCC-wide intranet to more than 150 simultaneous users nationwide. Sovereign Risk and Banking Systems Reports on all 83 countries shall be provided on the same CD-ROM as the bank reports. The CD-ROM shall also contain full-text rating change notifications and bank earnings update memos. In addition, the contractor shall be required to notify and update the OCC whenever any rating changes occur. The CD-ROM shall contain the data base and documents to enable searching and sorting bank information based on a variety of criteria including state, country, region, asset size, analyst name, bank holding company name, or ratings, and Boolean searching capabilities. The CD-ROM shall provide full-text access to all reports and spreadsheets (un-encrypted PDF documents and Access database). Text of the reports and spreadsheets shall have cut and paste capabilities for import into another Windows-compatible program(s). The CD-ROM shall be updated and shipped to the OCC a minimum of 24 times per year. In addition to the CD-ROM requirements, the contractor shall provide unlimited access by phone for all OCC users to any of its 65 analysts for statistical data on covered banks or banking system. Because of the specialized nature of this requirement, this procurement is a sole source and no solicitation is available. Letters and telephone requests for a copy of a solicitation will not be accepted and are considered nonresponsive to this CBD announcement.
