The work includes the demolition of existing built-in self contained air conditioning equipment (3 units) on the radar operational facility (Building 3037A) which consists of three transportable containers connected together to form one building. The work will require some metal fabrication and the installation of new self contained wall mounted air conditioning units (5 each) and shall provide temporary air conditioning of the facility during the transition. The work further includes replacing an existing halon computer floor fire suppression system located in the operational trainer facility (Building 3005). All operations in this area will continue. This work includes new CO2 piping system, storage tanks, dispenser and sensor heads, control panels, purge exhaust fans, power wiring, and connection to existing building fire alarm system, connection to existing air conditioning system and includes incidental related work.
