Furnish all personnel, equipment and materials required to install Fourteen (14) 161-kV disconnect switches at the Water Valley Switching Station, replace jumper conductors for the new switches in the location noted in the drawings, and upgrade the 161-kW main and transfer bus at Southwestern's Water Valley Switching Station located 3-1/2 miles west on HWY 62, in Randolph County, Arkansas. The estimated magnitude of this proposed acquisition is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The completion date is April 17, 1998. A presolicitation notice has been sent to all prospective contractors on Southwestern's mailing list. The solicitation package will be furnished only upon written request or FAX (918) 595-6656. The solicitation will be available in various formats. The solicitation including drawings will be available on compact disk in WP for Windows Version 6.0a format. There is no charge for the diskette or the Compact Disk. A non-refundable fee of $25.00 is required for a hard copy of the solicitation with 11" x 17" drawings. A nonrefundable fee of $10.00 is required for 24" x 36" drawings. Checks should be made payable to "U.S. Department of Energy".
