The title has changed to Abate, Lead-Based Paint Water Towers and the Project No. has changed to 97-9384. This project will abate lead-based paint and repaint three water towers at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Work includes, but is not limited to removal of all lead based paint on three water towers, repainting of all three water towers and attachment of a government furnished ladder safety cage to tank No. 1895. Work will take place entirely within the confines of Cannon AFB, New Mexico. The project will have a lump sum bid for the work and the performance time will be 210 days. The magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project is unrestricted. Firms should indicate whether they are women owned, disadvantaged, small, or large when requesting a package. IFB will be issued on or about 15 Apr 97. All responsible business sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. Only written requests will be accepted.
