The Lower Columbia Area Office has a requirement for furnishing and delivery of approximately 3500 cubic yard of 3/4 inch minus road base gravel. Contractor will be required to prepare the stockpile site, including costs for mobilization, demobilization and cleanup. Contractor will also be responsible for dust control and road maintenance during the course of the performance period. The project delivery site is located on the South Shore of Prineville Reservoir approximately 42 miles from Prineville Oregon. Access is gained by traveling over Prineville Dam on State Highway 27 to the intersection with Salt Creek Road. Travel on the graveled Salt Creek Road 4.3 miles to the small settlement identified as Roberts. Continue on the unimproved dirt road known as Juniper Canyon and Roberts Road to an access road on the left and then to the designated road base stockpile site. A tour of the access road route to the road base stockpile site may be arranged by contacting the Bureau of Reclamation Prineville Ranger Office at (541) 447-7957.
