99 -- MISCELLANEOUS TO CONSTRUCT 100 STORE FRONT RECRUITING OFFICE UPGRADE/APPEARANCE KITS SOL DAHA90-97-Q-0054 DUE 042997 POC Linda M. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. DAHA90-97-Q-0054 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This is a small business set aside. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42 are incorporated. SIC for this procurement is 7336. The following clauses of provision 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition, 52.203-3, 52.203-6, 52.203-10, 52.219-8, 52.222-3, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-43, 252.225-7000, 252.225-7036. Offerors shall submit a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3 with offer. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria and in order of importance: Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. Furnish all material, parts, labor and supervision to construct 100 Upgrade/Appearance Kits for Store Front Recruiting Offices that will be located throughout the United States and its territories. The Kits shall consist of the following: Line item #0001, Qty 100 each., 24" X 76" architect sign with changing theme panels, 3MM PVC substrate. Two (2) double sided 14 ply cards to accommodate two theme designed, one on each side for ceiling mounting. Ceiling hardware for drop ceiling tiles. The "You Can" logo will be screened at 100 lpi. There will be a photo CD image with type on both side of the theme panel. (Logo will be supplied) Line item #0002, Qty 200 units, 18" X 60" Point of Purchase Banner Display Stand with Two (2) panels. Finished with two (2) 10 mil poly banner panels with wooden dowel. Screened graphical images at no less than 100 lpi, with text set in accordance with customer supplied images. Display mounted on steel stand with black matte finish. Line item #0003, Qty 200, 60" X 36" polyethylene Promotional Banner. Full color graphic screened 100 lpi. 10 mil polyethylene banner screened for 100 line resolution. Poly rope provided with banner for interior/exterior mounting with stitched seam. 6' rope ends, finished with brass grommets as substitute item, is an option, fully weatherproof and easily maintained. Line item #0004, Qty 100, 24" X 36" logo graphic screened on static cling vinyl. "Recruiting Office" lettering screened below "You Can" logo (will be supplied). Line item #0005, Qty 100, 24" X 36" screened graphic mounted over extruded dimensional polystyrene plastic base extrusion complete with pad mounts. Relief will be one inch. Line item #0006, Qty 100 units, Vinyl Door Graphics, 16" X 18" screened static cling sign. Standardized portion of sign for all locations includes screened wording "Army National Guard Recruiting Office", with three (3) color divider. Item will be completed with "You Can" logo. The hours of operation will be customized in one color vinyl for each kit. (hours will be supplied). Use pantone color specifications. Packaging will be coded as to which packages have what hours of operation to assist with the distribution. Line item #0007, Qty 600 units, Poster Mounts Assembled, 3/16" foamcore backing, backing trimmed to accommodate full bleed on poster black plastic frame with hanging fixture. Poster will be laminated. Line item #0008, Qty 100 units, Collateral Brochure Display, 24" X 74" vertical standing unit, three (3) sided, Triangular design, custom fabricated for one (1) 8" X 10" magazine and two (2) 9" X 4" tri-fold brochures on each side of display. Display finished with channels for three (3) 18" X 24" card stock posters with screened graphical images on each side. Header panel screened with "You Can" logo on each of the three sides. Each of the three (3) 18" X 24" card stock will be screened at 100 lpi with photos and type to be supplied. Additional Instructions: All body text will be Century Old Style, tracking minimum -3 and maximum -6. All headlines will be Gillsans extra bold, horizontal scale will be between 95 -- 105%. Leading will be 75% of type size. Track minimum will be -5 and maximum -9. Must be able to support for additional graphic inserts to all items that have replaceable/removable graphic panels. The government will supply, posters to be framed, CD ROM with the photos to be used in all displays, CD ROM with ARNG " You Can" logo, and all copy to be used in graphic inserts. PROTOTYPE: One (1) prototype will be delivered prior to production 60 days after receipt of order. The remaining kits will be delivered 45 days after prototype approval to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Packaging For Shipping. Packaged into no more than four boxes per kit for follow on shipping. Each box must be marked/coded to indicate what items are enclosed.
