The P-3 PDM DRAFT RFP will be available to industry via the 2.0 Homepage about 15 Apr 97. If you do not have the capability to access the homepage, a hard copy of the DRAFT RFP can be made available for you to pick-up at our Crystal City, Virginia, office. However, you must call in advance to arrange this. ALL OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO USE THE INTERNET TO ACCESS THE RFP AND SEND RESPONSES. Please not that all further postings of this RFP will be released via the internet, and if you do not currently have internet access, it is in your best interest to obtain it. The pre-solicitation conference for this procurement is tentatively scheduled for 1-2 May 1997 at NADEP Jacksonville, FL. Additional information will be forthcoming to those on the mailing list. A formal RFP release date of 23 May 97 is planned. Therefore, it would be helpful that all draft RFP questions be forwarded to the government prior to the pre-solicitation conference. The current quantities are a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 44 aircraft per year. The government will reserve the right to make multiple awards under this solicitation. It is expected that the bidders will be required to provide a FFP per aircrafdt per year for all PDM "Basic" Requirements (non-phase specific) for all P-3 T/M/S, with price deltas being provided for Phase I, Phase II, Phase III, EP-3, NP-3, RP-3, ESF, and >75% FLI. Minimum and maximum quantities represent a combination of all three phases of PDM.
