J -- OVERHAUL AND RETROFIT AK-25 AND AK-75 CIRCUIT BREAKERS SOL EMT-97-RQ-0007 DUE 051497 POC Contact Virna Evans, Contracting Officer 817-898-5108 Project will include the overhaul and retrofit of thirteen (13) AK-25 and one (1) AK-75 circuit breakers. Each circuit breaker shall be retrofit with MVT (GE type) overloads or approved equivalent. Overhaul shall include: complete disassembly of operating mechanism, contact assemblies, complete cleaning, total lubrication of all pivots during reassembly with manufacturers recommended lubricant, readjust breaker and complete electrical testing. Project is located at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region VI, 800 North Loop 288, Denton, Texas, approximately 38 miles north of Dallas, Texas. The contract period shall be thirty (30) days. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order.
