Daniels, Contracting Officer, AMSMI-AC-CFHA, (205) 876-7321. The U.S. Army Missile Command has a requirement to procure Program Management Support Services for the JAVELIN Weapon System. This effort will be to assist the JAVELIN Project Office prepare for the Army System Acquisition Review Council and advance into full scale production by providing them with the necessary programmatic analytical support that they need in the areas of planning documentation, scheduling, program management integration, programmatic support to technical integration and logistics support. The period of performance for this effort shall be from the date of contract award through 19 September 1997 which will be approximately 4 months. It is estimated that this effort will be approximately 3,720 manhours. The SIC Code for thie effort is 8742. A Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Level-of-Effort (LOE) is contemplated for this effort. It is anticipated that this action will be awarded Sole Source to United International Engineering (UIE), Inc. as new work for additional man-hours with the same scope under an existing Statement of Work (SOW) currently being performed. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This action is sole source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source, or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
