Michael_J._Mee@hud.gov. This is a small purchase set-aside. The U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development is seeking sources to
perform relocation services on multifamily properties. It is the
intention of HUD to issue a solicitation to the service and award
multiple blanket purchase order type contracts. Interested bidders must
possess recent experience, within the last 3 years, in relocating
tenants. At a minimum, the contractor will be expected to (1) organize
tenant meeting to explain the relocation process,(2) assist the
tenants in locating acceptable housing, and (3)inspect the potential
housing to ensure that HQS regulations are met. In order to perform the
HQS portion of the requirements, the contractor must have experience,
or the ability to hire the experience of a property inspector. The
property inspector must have 3 years experience, such as, (1)
construction inspector for multifamily properties for determining
compliance with construction codes, (2) supertenintendent of
construction for a builder of multifamily properties, (3) fee inspector
performing construction inspections for HUD, (4) municipal building or
code inspector, or (5) have a record of performing acceptable HUD
