The Government is contemplating a requirements type contract with an initial ordering period of 7 years, to be awarded IAW Source Selection procedures for the propulsion business area at Kelly AFB. This acquisition will be open to all interested parties, and will be accomplished as a public/private competition. The workload may include overhaul, repair and modification of F10/TF39/T56 engines, engine electronics, fuel accessories and two-level maintenance on T-56 and TF-39 engines. Facilities and equipment are available for lease through the Greater Kelly Development Corporation. The Draft RFP release date is planned for 15 May 97.
