TSgt Grigsby, To provide the following training, to include all labor
supplies, material, transportation and equipment necessary to perform
train the Trainer in painting aesthetic defects versus, corrosion
control painting. This training program is designed to achieve the
following: 1. Teach painters how to improve performance to achieve
immediate reductions in the emissions of VOCs, HAPs, the generations
and disposal of hazardous waste, and the disposal of contaminated water
from water-wash spray booths. 2. Provide instruction to painters such
that they will do the job right the first time, thereby minimizing the
need for reworks and rejects. 3. Provide instructions to supervisors
and on-site trainers who will be able to maintain painter performance
after the training program has been completed. 4. Familiarize painters
and supervisors with their responsibilities regarding implementation
of paints and coating regulations, and permits conditions. Offerors
will bid on the following items: CLIN 0001, Trainthe Trainer coarse.
Dates: 26-29 August 1997, not to exceed 30 students Offerors will bid
on the following items: CLIN 0002, Train the Trainer coarse. Dates:
15-18 September 1997, not to exceed 30 students This is a combined
synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance
with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposal are being requested and a written
solicitations will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-97-97Q0397)
is issued as a request for Quotation. This procurement is reserved for
small business concerns, utilizing the size standard in FAR 19 under
Standard Industrial Code 8299. This solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 90-32. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions
to Offerors-Commercial applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR
52.214-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to
this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial
