The work includes all material, equipment, labor and supervision, under a Firm Fixed Price Contract, Base Bid and One Bid Option, for removal of the existing fan coil units, all piping, suspended ceiling, etc. and installation of new fan coil units, all piping (first floor) and isolation valves (three floors), suspended ceiling, ventilation system, re-insulation of existing outdoor air ducts, etc.. Performance period for Base Bid shall be 240 calendar days. Bid Option 1 requires the addition of painting of all dormitory rooms, hallways, recreational lounges, reception lounges, vending machine rooms, etc., Performance period for Bid Option 1 shall be as follows: if awarded within 60 days of the base contract award date, the contract completion date shall remain unchanged. If awarded 61 days or more from the base contract award date, the contract completion date will be extended 30 calendar days. The contract includes the clause titled "Evaluation of Options" (FAR 52.217-5) Except when determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interest, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirements. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (End of provision). The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1711. The related Small Business Size Standards is $7.0 million annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years.
