Z -- REPLACE AIRPORT LIGHTS AND OASIS FUEL FACILITY SOL DAKF23-97-B-0021 DUE 071897 POC Contract Specialist, Brenda Eiseman, (502) 798-7811/ Contract Specialist Learah Smith, (502) 798 7129 (Site Code DAKF23) Work includes repair and replace existing aircraft lighting system and asbestos abatement,demolition, and replacement of existing control facility at Ft. Campbell Army Airfield refueling point. Repair and replace lighting systems on landing pads, taxiway and hover lanes, and other airport areas as required to meet current Army Lighting Standards. Disconnect and remove existing light circuits and draw underground lines from new facility to be constructed. Construct concrete pads to protect airport light housings. Install new grounding, bonding, etc., as required by NEC, 1996. Work to be done to replace existing facility includes abatement of gypsum wallboard wth asbestos -containing joint compound and/or wall paneling with asbestos paneling adhesive. Remove asbestos insulation, cement board, floor tiles, and contaminated soil complete. Construct a 20' x 20' concrete block masonry type facility with electric lights and heat and cooling system, as needed. Install new water and sewer connections, and toilet accessories complete. Period of performance is 120 calendar days. The estimated range of this project is $250,000 to $500,000. SIC 1731. For the purposes of determining the small business size status, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7 million. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program; therefore, this acquisition is Unrestricted.
