The environment requirements are severe as the kit is mounted in the boattail section of the Patriot missile system. The contract is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity and will be for a 5 year term. The maximum quantities for the 5 years include 4 sets of First Article, 450 production units, and data. The estimated release date of the solicitation will be on or about 9 May 1997 and will close 30 days after release.
