16 -- COMMUNICATIONS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) PHASE IIIB FOR P-3C AIRCRAFTS SOL N00019-95-G-0208 POC Contact, Ann Phan, Phone (703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed-price order on Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-95-G-0208 with Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, Marietta, Georgia for non-recurring engineering for Phase IIIB of the P-3C Communications Improvement Program (CIP). This non-recurring engineering is for the software development of CIP software required to provide 25-KHZ DAMA Automatic Contract Mode for P-3C CIP. This order is a continued effort to finalize non-recurring software engineering in order to manufacture, test, modify and integrate future CIP retrofit kits. As the current designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of these CIP kits for the NAVY P-3 aircraft, Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems is the only source that possesses the necessary expertise, engineering drawings and data to perform this effort. -- NAVAIR Synopsis No. 30085-97.
