41 -- BUILDING #61 STEAM ABSORPTION CHILLER SOL 518-03-97 DUE 052397 POC Contracting Officer, John Guregian, (617) 687-2368 Furnish and rig into place (1) 120 ton "Steam Absorption Chiller", electronically controlled, single effect, single stage, utilizing hermetic refrigerant and lithium bromide solution as the absorbent. Low pressure steam shall be supplied to the generator as a heat source. The system shall include the following: Evaporator, absorber, condenser, generator, solution heat exchanger, refrigerant solution pumps, purge system, all piping, wiring, controls, and auxiliaries. Also provide start up labor and materials and full warranty period services. The chiller shall be manufactured in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE 15 (Latest Edition) Safety Code For Mechanical Refrigeration and ASME Section VIII, Division 1 requirements as well as all applicable Federal, State, Local, and OSHA requirements and contract specifications.
