Operational Contracting, located at Brooks AFB San Antonio TX, intends to solicit and negotiate a firm fixed price contract with Edstrom Industries Inc of 819 Bakke Ave, Waterford, WI 53185-4299, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This requirement is for the purchase and installation of a stainless steel automatic animal watering system which will prevent the potential for microbiologic cross-contamination. Other specifications include: Pressure reducing stations which are equipped with auto flush features and central monitoring features; a shut-off valve and injection port for system sanitization; interconnect stations each equipped with a detachable recoil hose with stainless steel quick disconnect couplings; plated brass solenoid flush valves at terminal ends of distribution system with an extension of the stainless steel piping to a floor drain within the animal room.
