Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216 has a requirement to design, construct, test, install, confirm and warrant all hardware and software associated with the supply of an automated laboratory sample delivery system. System must be compatible with, and interfaceable to, the Data Innovations device currently in place at this Medical Center, be capable of receiving test requerst and barcode identity information from the DHCP (Decentralized Hospital Computer Program) through the Data Innovations device, and be capable of transmitting the test result information from automation system integrated analyzers through the Data Innovations device to DHCP. System must be able to identify each specimen by DHCP- supplied barcode label and correlate that identity with the test request information received from the DHCP. The system must include the necessary hardware to successfully present and insert appropriate samples into the sample port of the chemistry and hematology analyzers selected for use at this Medical Center. (The projected analyzer for Hematology is the Coulter Gen-S, the projected analyzer for clinical chemistry is the Hitachi 917. Solicitation 549-65-97 will be available on or about May 27, 1997.
