This notice of intent is for informational purposes only, this is not a request for proposals. Support shall be provided from the effective date of the modification through no longer than September 30, 1997, although a shorter period is anticipated. This is an intended sole source action due to unanticipated increases in the tempo of work during this final year of the contract, and a possible delay in the award for the competed follow-on contract. A determination not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22. (0104)
