ESTABLISHMENT FOR THE COMPOSITION OF DATA SIGNAL, THE SCOPE OF
IMPLEMENTATION OF SCRAMBLE AND THE CONTROL ON SCRAMBLE The following
notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6.

(Articles 3.2 and 7.2). 2. Agency responsible: Ministry of Posts and
Telecommunications Agency or authority designated to handle comments
regarding the notification can be indicated if different from above. 3.
Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where
applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be
provided in addition, where applicable): Transmitter equipment of
terrestrial data broadcasting. 5. Title, number of pages and
language(s) of the notified document: Amendment of the Enforcement
Ordinance of Radio Law Etc. Establishment for the Composition of Data
Signal, the Scope of Implementation of Scramble and the Control on
Scramble, (Available in English, 3 pages). 6. Description of content:
To establish the technical requirements for terrestrial data
broadcasting using sound subcarriers. 7. Objective and rationale: To
establish the standards of terrestrial data broadcasting using the
vertical blanking interval and to utilize the broadcasting. 8. Relevant
documents: The Basic Law is the Radio Law. This standard will appear in
"Kampo" (Official Government Gazette) when adopted. 9. Proposed date of
adoption: May 1997; Proposed date of entry into force: May 1997. 10.
