S -- BIOHAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL FOR NAVAL HOSPITAL, BREMERTON, WASHINGTON SOL N44255-97-B-5708 DUE 062097 POC TERRY HOMBURG, Contract Specialist, (360)396-4596. The work includes the collection, transportation and disposal of biohazardous waste generated by routine hospital and clinic operations at Navy medical and dental facilities located in Bremerton, Silverdale and Everett, Washington. This contract does not include the disposal of solid waste or radioactive waste. The Contractor shall have permits and licenses from the appropriate state and county agencies for transporting and treating/incinerating biohazardous waste. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation and materials to accomplish all work. It is anticipated this solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price type contract which will include a base year with the provision for four additional option years. Options may be exercised without further notification. This is being solicited (unrestricted) as a competitive sealed bid procurement. Site visit dates will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitations will be available on or about 5 May 1997. There will be a non-refundable charge of $15.00 for solicitations.
