The work includes: Providing labor, material and equipment to cut all trees and brush to the ground and clear a 50 foot corridor both side and length of the drainage canal on the west side of Hangar 414. Cut all trees and brush ground level along Taxiway K and Runway 32 ``line of sight'' from the Tower to the end of Taxiway K. All brush, tree branches and tree trunks shall be removed from the site, mechanical means can be used on areas that are not wet lands. Area is approximately 36 acres. All trees and brush in wet lands are to be cut by hand, trees shall be dropped on site, all other debris shall be removed from site. No vehicular traffic or rutting is allowed. Also cut trees and brush to the ground that are to the left of Runway 32 and incidental related work as written in specification. The proposed acquisition is 100% Small Business Set Aside. Estimated duration of the contract is 45 calendar days for completion. There will be only two site visits scheduled (one on Wednesday 07 May 1997 at 9:00 a.m. and one on Wednesday 14 May 1997 at 1:00 p.m. Meet at Public Works Conference Room, Bldg 50, Naval Air Station, JRB, New Orleans, Louisiana.
