The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to procure Competitively, the following system: 1 System -- System Specifications: Primary housing with the potential for up to 15 additional housings. Housing to have 16 user configurable card slots for data interface cards. Primary Housing shall have power module to accept 24-28 VDC, a Microprocessor Controller Module, and a PCM Output Card. Housing will have two ports for connecting additional modules. Multiplexer system shall be computer programmed and controlled through an RS-232, Centronics, or Ethernet port. Controlling software shall be provided on 3.5" diskettes or CD and shall operate under Windows 3.1 or higher. Operating Temperature Range 0 Celcius to 60 Celcius. PCM Specifications: Frame and word programming to be compatible with IRIG 106-93 Class II decommutator specifications. Clock Source to be programmable (internal or external). Internal clock programmable 1000 bps to 8 Mbps, or greater. Bit rate stability to be within 0.01%. Multiplexer to support minor frames of at least 16,000 words and major frames of at least 200 minor frames. Word size programmable, individually for each channel, from 4 to 16 bits. Most Significant Bit first PCM word order. Data channels individually programmable for normal commutation super commutation or sub commutation. Programmable parity (on, off, or even). Programmable Frame Synch from 16 to 33 bits. Programmable output codes: NRZ-L, RNRZ-L, BIO-L, BIO-M, BIO-S. Programmable PCM Output Level from 0.15 to 1.5 Volts p-p into 50 Ohm load. Input Requirements: 58 channel Differential Analog Input. +/-5 V p-p Full-Scale Input. Programmable A/D Conversion up to 12 bits. Programmable encoding rates up to 40KSamples per second per individual channel. 32 channel Type K Thermocouple Inputs (+/-50 mv). 32 channel BiLevel Inputs (TTL-Level), One (1) channel IRIG B Time Code Input for Frame Time Tagging.
