NASA/LeRC is hereby soliciting information for potential sources for HIGH RESOLUTION MAGNETIC RESONANCE (NMR) SPECTROMETER WITH SUPERCONDUCTING MAGNET. THIS INSTRUMENT MUST HAVE THE CAPABILITY FOR VARIABLE TEMPERATURE OBSERVATION OF 1H NUCLEII IN 5MM SAMPLE TUBES AND 14N,15N,2H,29SI,13C AND 11B SAMPLES IN 10MM TUBES. IT MUST ALSO BE CAPABLE OF OBSERVING 29SI,13C, AND 11B IN SOLID SAMPLES. THE INSTRUMENT MUST BE CAPABLE OF BEING UPGRADED TO ADD IMAGING CAPABILITIES.Interested firms have 15 days from the publication on the NAIS (or commerce Business Daily (CBD) if over $500K) to submit their qualifications/capabilities. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Please advise if the requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-type product. A commercial item is defined in "Note A".
