99 -- SPECIAL COMPARTMENTAL INTELLIGENCE (SCI) VAULT SPACE WITH OFFICE SUPPORT FOR ONE YEAR WITH A SIX MONTH OPTION SOL F4162197R5013 DUE 051697 POC Point of Contract -- Myrna Howell, Contract Negotiator, 210-977-2821 ext. 215, Contracting Officer -- Patricia Larzelere, 210-977-2821 ext. 203 The Goverment intends to negotiate a sole source contract, under the authority of FAR 6.302, with BTG, San Antonio TX. This is necessary to support the Governnment's requirement for a minimum of 2000 square feet of Special Compartmental Intelligence (SCI) accredited office space. This must be Class B or better. The area is to include an intrusion alarm and combination operated steel door. The space shall be accessable 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The space must be general office type space with lights, climate control, and power for 30 computer systems. Classified and unclassified DSN telephones are required as well as commercial telephone service. Separate offices are required for the supervisor and another room for demonstration/conferences. The remaining office space should be open to allow for configuration/reconfiguration of programming activities as required. Space is needed 1 Jul 97 for one year with a priced six month option period. Should offers be received from other thanBTG, the Government will consider relocation cost during evaluation with award made to the lowest TOTAL evaluated cost to the Government. The costs reviewed will include moving, local transportation for meetings to the proposed address, and the cost associated with the moving of communication lines. In addition to the office space, the following services are also needed and should be included in the price for the leased services: Scheduling conferences and conference calls for both Classified and Unclassified meetings; Fedex services on an as needed basis; Reception of visitor to include VIP's and the administration of security clearances for visitors requiring access to classified space and/or information; and Unlimited access to copier, and Fax machine. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, all proposals received prior to date of closure will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. (0105)
