B -- ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY ANALYSIS SERVICES FOR THE WALLA WALLA DISTRICT CORPS OF ENGINEERS, WALLA WALLA, WASHINGTON SOL DACW68-97-B-0016 DUE 060397 POC Contract Specialist Bryan Stroud (509) 527-7213 (Site Code DACW68) The U.S. Army, Walla Walla District Corps of Engineers intends to issue a solicitation for analytical environmental laboratory services, accredited in Washington and Idaho state. Under an indefinite delivery order type contract, basic with one option year, the contractor shall provide laboratory chemical analysis of environmental samples taken throughout the Walla Walla District on an as needed basis. The typical matrix will consist of both water and sediment samples. The analysis to be performed shall consist of, but not be limited to: metals by ICP-MS, semi-volatile GC-MS, glyphosphate by derivation and HPLC, mercury by cold vapor AA, TCLP using both EPA 1311 or elutriate, plychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans using high resolution MS, herbicides, pesticides, and identification of category hydrocarbons using WA state method HCID. Additional services include preparation of reports using the standard scientific format (peer reviewed literature style) and electronic deliverables on a Corps provided template. This is not an invitation to bid, but notice that a solicitation will be issued for this requirement. Any contract awarded from this advertisement will be firm fixed price. Size standard for small business concerns under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 8734 is $5 million dollars.
