B -- CLASS III CULTURAL RESOURCE INVENTORY LOCATED IT THE STATES OF MONTANA AND SOUTH DAKOTA SOL 1422-N660-R97-3009 DUE 063097 POC Nancy Thompson, 303/236-9437/Procurement Clerk The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for Class III field inventories located in two sites in the State of Montana and one site in the State of South Dakota. The inventories shall be conducted aimed at locating and recording all cultural properties that have surface and exposed profile indications, to be accomplished through systematic inspection using a series of closely spaced parallel transects. Artificial exposure of the subsurface (auger probing or shovel testing) may be necessary for identification efforts if ground/surface visibility is completely obscured by heavy vegetation cover. The solicitation documents should be available on or about the 5/1/97. This is a small business set-aside procurement. See Note 1 (0105)
